Selection Procedure in IITs

1. 70-80% GATE score & 20-30% Written test/Interview
2. Most institutes require a minimum percentage CGPA in B.Tech. 

  General / OBC : 60% or 6.5 CGPA
   SC / ST / PH : 55% or 6.0 CGPA

Most IITs waive off GATE score requirement for IIT graduates having CGPA 8.0 or above
